This city’s lost it’s hope, I repeat, I boast
The strange will walk alone
They scurry with their doubt
The darkness shrouds, the sirens shout
Against the concrete below
Oh, This works all you and me… Its all our being
We will burn this city down
Who will be your…

Day Twelve: My Favorite Musical Artist’s Life Story.
Well, for starters, my absolute favorite figure in the music industry of forever is Claudio Paul Sanchez. Here’s a short version of his “life story”.
Claudio Sanchez (born March 12, 1978) is the lead singer and guitarist for Coheed and Cambria, a progressive rock group. Coheed and Cambria formed from a trio called “Shabutie” in 1995 but changed their name, and a few band members, in 2001. They have released 5 albums: The Second Stage Turbine Blade, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, and Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV: Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness, No World For Tomorrow, Year Of The Black Rainbow. Sanchez also writes all of the band’s lyrics and most of their primary song riffs, as well as The Bag On Line Adventures comic series now known as The Amory Wars, which recounts the science fiction story of Coheed and Cambria in further detail. He is noted for his wide vocal range, often extending into the higher scales in the manner of Geddy Lee, lead singer of the progressive rock band Rush and for his big and curly hair. While primarily playing rhythm during his vocals, Sanchez also plays lead, often alternating with guitarist Travis Stever in a “dueling guitar solo” fashion.
He is of Puerto-Rican heritage, and is one of 4 children in his family. In early 2006, Coheed and Cambria was forced to cancel several European tour dates after Sanchez broke his hand while “sparring” with younger brother Matthew, a professional boxer.
Sanchez is also in a side project called The Prize Fighter Inferno, which has released three songs, including “The Missing McCloud Boys” (formerly entitled I’m Going To Kill You). Sanchez also appears on his bandmate Travis’ side project dubbed Fire Deuce (backing vocals) which released Children of the Deuce in 2005, an 80s style rock album reminiscent of Iron Maiden - hence the album’s title.
According to an interview with Josh Eppard in Alternative Press , “Claudio has a hip hop side project that no one will ever hear.”
